My interest in Art began as a young child, observing my father in his studio. He was an excellent semi professional Artist, working full time for British Rail. I wasn't what you would describe as an academic student at school, in fact, I was pretty rebellious and non conformist, which possibly shows up in some of my works. At a later stage in my life, I decided to study Art in more detail by enrolling in the Derby College of Art and Design, whereby after two years of relaxed study, i gained a Diploma in Art and Design, which covered all aspects of Art, including Photography and Ceramics. My fathers name was Albert Raymond Eyden. God rest his soul.
